Funeral Flowers & Casket Sprays Christchurch By Award-Winning Florists

At Fleur by DK, we understand that choosing funeral flowers is a deeply personal final gesture of love, remembrance, and comfort. Led by master florist and NZ Florist of the Year winner Debra Kinnaird, our boutique Merivale studio provides a compassionate, seamless floral service across Christchurch and Canterbury. With over 40 years of floral artistry, we specialise in liaising directly with funeral directors and chapels to ensure your casket sprays, wreaths, and sympathy sheaves are delivered well before the service begins. Whether you need a timeless classic white lily tribute, textured native greenery, or a bespoke arrangement reflecting a loved one’s lifelong passion for gardening, we are here to help you honour their memory with dignity and care.

Funeral Flowers FAQ

  • What information do I need to order funeral flowers?

When placing your order online or over the phone, simply provide the full name of the deceased, the name of the funeral home or chapel, the date and time of the service, and your personalised card message. We coordinate delivery timing directly with the funeral director so you do not have to worry about the logistics.

  • Can you make biodegradable or natural tributes?

Yes. For natural burials, eco-funerals, or sustainable memorials across Canterbury, we can craft casket sprays and sheaves using 100% biodegradable materials—including moss bases, jute twine, natural branches, and compostable ties—entirely free of plastics and floral foam.

  • Do you offer same-day delivery for sympathy flowers?

Yes. For sympathy bouquets delivered to a family’s home, we offer guaranteed same-day delivery across Christchurch for orders placed before 2:00 PM weekdays and 11:00 AM on Saturdays. For formal casket sprays and funeral service arrangements, we recommend ordering 24 to 48 hours in advance so our florists can condition specific seasonal blooms to perfection.
